The 2017-18 middle school seasons have begun! Stoughton is operating two teams this season, Stoughton 1 and Stoughton 2 in the C1 and C2 divisions. The games have started and all results will be tracked on the schedule page. The roster for the Stoughton 1 team has also been posted on the roster page.

Congratulations to the Stoughton Middle School team, who won the championship of the Grey Division with a 3-2 overtime win over over Taunton (2) at the Foxboro Sports Center on Friday, March 31. The game marked the end of the coaching career of head coach Buddy O'Neil, who steps down after 12 years at the helm of the middle school team.
The men's varsity team concluded their 2016-17 season with a 3-1 victory over the Norton Lancers on senior night at the Asiaf Arena on Wednesday night, February 22 . Luke Bainton, Sean Doherty, and Brendan Campbell scored for Stoughton, while A.J. Scott turned aside 18 shots in net. The Black Knights finish the season winning four of their last five and end with a record of 7-12-2. Congrats to Coaches Mark and Antonelli and all the players on a strong, competitive season!
The SHS varsity women were defeated 6-0 in their most recent action by Ursuline Academy in a game played at the Jim Roche Community Ice Arena in West Roxbury on Wednesday, February 22. With the defeat the women end their season with a mark of 1-19-1. The women are to be commended for a season of hard work and strong effort nightly despite the record not going their way this season.
Former Stoughton High goaltender Jorge Alves made his NHL debut on Saturday evening, December 31 for the Carolina Hurricanes against the Tampa Bay Lightning in a relief role. He was signed to a tryout contract with the team. He becomes the second SHS alum to appear at the NHL level. Richie Dunn was the first, as he played for SHS in his freshman year before going on to play for Buffalo, Calgary, and Hartford.
